Miriam a brand new Mommy and is 17-years old. She is in the 11th grade and doing well in school. Miriam was already the motherly type having a younger sister she is very close to and is thrilled to have a baby girl. Miriam is a loner and realizes her mood swings can be overwhelming. Miriam always calls herself a work in progress. She struggles with her placement in a group home away from her sister.
