At One Simple Wish we believe that every child
deserves love, hope and joy
Our Story
In 2006, Danielle and Joe Gletow became foster parents and it changed their lives forever. Watchingas an 18-month-old boy nervously entered their home wearing a onesie and an oversized coat after being removed abruptly from his abusive home, The Gletows knew they had to do more for children in foster care.
One Simple Wish launched in 2008 as an online platform designed to bring awareness to the foster care system and empower others to restore hope and happiness to kids and young adults impacted by the system.

Every day One Simple Wish works tirelessly to amplify the voices of individuals impacted by foster care and childhood crisis through their simple, yet meaningful wishes.
