Mecklenburg County Guardian ad LitemNellie is a quiet young lady with bright eyes. She has an infectious laugh, but keeps to herself most of the time. She loves her little sister and is very bonded and protective of her. She has never been to school, but is excited about starting this fall. She is enjoying summer camp and being around other children her age.
Nellie started singing lessons last school year thanks in large part to One Simple Wish. It was the first time she had ever participated in an enrichment activity for children. She started again this school year but needs more funding to continue her weekly Saturday lessons through next year. Nellie loves singing, she loves her teacher and she really likes that she has something she is good at.
