Joanna is a foster care youth who currently resides in her own apartment in NYC public housing with her 1-year-old son. Joanna was diagnosed with severe migraines at the age of 7 and is still dealing with this today. She struggles with her health at times but keeps pushing forward everyday for herself and her son. Joanna is a very passionate and hardworking individual who is dedicated to making a better life.

Joanna's birthday is coming up, and this year for her birthday we'd love to surprise her with a gift card. Joanna has her eyes on a video game that she just can not afford at this time. Being a full time student and mother doesn't leave a lot of time for herself, so the few minutes a week she gets to spend playing video games are super important to her (and very much needed). Please help us surprise Joanna!
