When you first meet Destiny, you will find her to be a genuinely fun loving young mother. She is an attentive listener and a great communicator. She is open to suggestions on how to care for and parent her newborn son. When asked what she wanted after obtaining her diploma, she immediately said, “to become a nurse, so I can take care of my grandmother, who I love dearly”. This broadminded free-spirit is enrolled in an online high school, and expects to graduate in October 2020.

Destiny needs some warm winter clothing. It is cold in her group home and she would like some cozy loungewear to wear around the holidays. She also needs a winter coat to wear on the bus to school and work. She only gets a small clothing allowance once a year from foster care which is not enough so your gift will help so much.
