UC Riverside Guardian ScholarsDewayne is a junior transfer student. He has had a rough upbringing, however, he is very persistent and resilient. Dewayne is an English major. He is still unsure what he wants to do after graduation, he is thinking about teaching, but we will see. One thing we all really like about Dewayne is his gregariousness and his ability to light up a room when we walks in. Dewayne has a bright future ahead of himself.
Dewayne is a former foster youth and current student striving to complete his education and working hard. He is an excellent student and receiving assistance this fall will give him the motivation to continue to succeed. As Dewayne reflects on his accomplishments, granting him this wish will give him the opportunity to reward himself.
