Joanna is a foster care youth who currently resides in her own apartment in NYC public housing with her 1-year-old son. Joanna was diagnosed with severe migraines at the age of 7 and is still dealing with this today. She struggles with her health at times but keeps pushing forward everyday for herself and her son. Joanna is a very passionate and hardworking individual who is dedicated to making a better life.

Joanna is starting her next semester of college and she is going to be very busy. She is taking on a full course load as well as a teaching assistant course. To fully succeed in her classes, Joanna is in need of a printer that doubles as a copier, along with some ink and paper. Joanna worked so hard last semester and plans on working even harder this semester. She would be so grateful for this support that will ensure she has a great freshman year!
