Dakayjha and her sister both aged out of foster care without any family supports. Unfortunately, they are trying to make it completely on their own but have hit rock bottom with COVID and are in desperate need of support.

Dakayjha feels like she has run out of options and is considering selling her body in order to put food on the table for herself and her pregnant sister. Unfortunately, it feels like an impossible task, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, to support herself in the way she wants to. She is faced with real challenges, like her diabetes and her sister being pregnant, and she knows that healthy groceries are needed to maintain both of their health. Dakayjha is working with a local resource to get back on their feet, but while they do that, they need some immediate support with food.
