Jackie is a foster youth who is preparing for life after aging out of the system. She currently shares a one bedroom apartment with her two adorable children. She is the most caring mother, always asking for items for her children above herself. She is committed to learning all she can as she begins to enter life on her own after care.

Jackie is a young mother living in Staten Island, a more remote area of NYC when you do not have a car. She lives off a limited income and is a very savvy shopper - she has given us and other youth we work with advice on where to buy what items! She likes to buy in bulk for the savings, and as a mother of two kids that is crucial. Jackie would love a deep freezer that would allow her to store meat and other frozen items, as well as have more room for the breastmilk she is pumping and freezing for her baby.
