Lav is a former foster care youth who currently resides in their own studio apartment in NYC public housing. Lav attends school full-time and is working on getting their Bachelor’s degree this year. Lav is an animal lover who occasionally takes in cats to give them a home. They are a very passionate and hardworking individual who is dedicated to making a better life for themselves.

Lav is currently attending college with the hopes of graduating soon. Their books have become more expensive this semester, and this has made it difficult for them to afford. Without these books Lav would not be able to complete their homework or pass their classes.
