Final expenses for Janettee whose family is left grieving this huge loss

OSW Advisory CouncilJanettee, who spent 12 years in foster care before aging out in 2000, now raises awareness of the plight of current and former foster children. Her own experiences of homelessness following aging out has led her to mentor and support other aging out/recently aged out youth in the hopes of helping them avoid that fate. She is a frequent guest on foster care blogs, has authored several poems, blogs, and articles, and is currently writing her autobiography. She also enjoys genealogy, and is currently trying to use DNA to unravel her family tree, which generations of foster care and adoption have made very difficult. Janettee is a SAHM to two children, as well as a bio mom whose oldest child was placed for adoption while she was suffering from homelessness.
Janettee came down with the flu just before Christmas and unfortunately, after some complications, she passed away. This is a huge loss for all of her friends at OSW, everyone she worked with, all of her friends and most importantly her family. Janettee leaves behind her two young children and her husband and this money will go towards all of her final expenses and a support for her boys.
