One Simple WishKinyata has gone through some pretty difficult times in her life, but nevertheless has persevered and continues to raise a beautiful little girl. She is a dedicated, hard working, young lady who loves to take care of others before taking care of herself.
Kinyata's daughter has a heart condition that requires surgery. The surgery is scheduled for December which means Kinyata will be out of work for at least a month. While her employer has agreed to allow her to keep her position available for when she can return, she does not receive benefits and will be unpaid for the duration of her time out of work. Given this, she will greatly benefit from the support of grocery assistance during the month of December.
