Avante is a hard worker who also enjoys playing outside and with hanging with his friends. He also likes basketball, skate boarding and playing video games. He currently lives with his grandmother and siblings and helps her take care of them. At times, he can get over shadowed by the higher needs of his younger siblings but he doesn't usually mind because he loves his family.

Avante has been without a phone for some time since his last one broke. He would like a new phone so he can call home to see if his grandmother needs anything when she is caring for his younger siblings. He would like to find a part time job and knows a phone will also help him with getting and keeping a job. In today's world, being without a phone is almost impossible as that is the most popular way for one to communicate with others. A new cell phone would allow Avante to do almost everything since phones are capable of doing much more then basic communication!
