Kenya is a good student and her favorite subject is reading. She enjoys being outside and playing with her siblings. Kenya loves to draw and do some simple picture painting. She loves music, especially singing. She is slowly learning to be a young girl and do young girl things after being the sole caretaker of her 4 younger siblings for most of her life.

Kenya is an energetic and loving young girl who loves to play outside and have fun with her fellow peers. Last year Social Services enrolled her in a local Charlotte, NC camp for one week in mid-summer. However, her mother overslept and missed getting Kenya to the camp bus on time. So, Kenya was considered a no-show and was dropped from the participation list. She was very disappointed. We are trying it again this year; her guardian will make sure she gets to camp! Wish #1 of 2
