From Lynda: "I am a woman full of gratitude! Being raised in foster care pretty much my entire upbringing, I am just thankful for the blessings in my life now; my family, our good health and togetherness. In many ways I have overcome my traumatic childhood of abuse and abandonment, the remnants are and will always be there, but I learn to live with them the best I can, and feeling the gratitude that I do, helps me to do just that. Aside from spending time with family and friends, helping others is one of my greatest joys! One of my passions is singing, I very much enjoy singing at small events with my husband. Another passion is water activities, whenever I can, I want to be in, on or under the water, I scuba dive whenever I can, and enjoy snorkeling, swimming, and any kind of boating! I love to golf and enjoy traveling as well, oh, and my guilty pleasure of watching scary movies!"

LovedBy Boxes are a beautiful way to spread some love to One Simple Wish Advisory Council members who have spent time in foster care. These awesome humans provide feedback on our programs, advise us on policy matters and share new ideas on how we can help the next generation of young people who are currently in foster care.
