Foster kids are kids, period. And they just want to have the same freedom and joy as their peers. Each year thousands of kids enter foster care in our state, separated from their friends, families, neighborhoods and most of what is familiar to them. It can be difficult, but One Simple Wish strives to make the transition a little easier so kids can enjoy childhood and make happy memories!

Our children love to have toast with their breakfast. It doesn't matter what breakfast is that morning, it is like we cannot make toast fast enough! Our toaster has a lot of wear and tear due to this though and is on it's last leg of life, so when we asked our chef what would help his job the most, he asked for a new toaster. This toaster is a great upgrade with four slots that are extra wide!
