Kayla has a long history in and out of the foster care system. Until recently she had been on the run from her mother and from the child protection workers trying to assist her. Kayla is only just now beginning to reconnect with her mother and try to bridge the emotional gap that has created a wedge between them.

Kayla would really love to celebrate her birthday with her friends and family at Dave and Busters. Unfortunately due to some complications she wasn't able to make this request in time for the date of her birthday but a bit late is still fine for Kayla. She's gone through a lot in the last year. Kayla is still getting used to living with her mother rather than being on the run from home. Kayla is also trying to catch up in school and struggles with her academic confidence. Several of Kayla's siblings also live in other foster/adoptive homes so it's a rare thing to have everyone together at the same time. It would be so great for Kayla to see all of her siblings and to celebrate her birthday.
