Lloyd was finally reunited with his birth mother about a year ago. He had a very difficult foster home experience for many years so the reunification was a happy time. However, Lloyd has a life threatening disease which requires methodical attention and on-going bone marrow transplants. His body is riddled with scars. Through this, he remains optimistic. He will begin school for his GED next week because he has missed months and months of school due to his illness. He is talking excitedly about getting a part-time job which has recently been approved by his doctors. Lloyd is not sure yet what he wants to choose as his career.

Lloyd would like to be more active. He loves basketball and has recently joined a team. He would love a portable, adjustable height, basketball system .
