Prudence is a bright and charming girl who has struggled to find her place in the world. DCS had to intervene with her family multiple times throughout her young life, eventually leading to the termination of her parents’ rights. She has siblings who have found their forever homes, but currently Patience is at a residential facility because of behaviors stemming from her struggles forming strong and lasting attachments to previous caregivers. Prudence loves horses and reading and has a smile that absolutely lights up a room! She always has little handmade gifts for her Guardian Ad Litem, siblings, and others who visit her, and she is proud of how well she has been doing in school.

Patience has been in a residential facility since June of 2016. She has made lots of improvements over the past several months and is very hopeful that she will be able to go to a pre-adoptive home soon. In the meantime, she has asked for some simple things to keep herself busy and comfortable. One thing that she has expressed wanting is a horse or unicorn themed bedding set. She would be absolutely thrilled to have something to make her little room a bit more home-like. Then, there will be something familiar to go to her new home with her, when that time comes!
