John has experienced a great deal of loss in his short life, but is lucky to always have had his brother and sister with him. John is very active outdoors and loves to play any and all sports.

John used to have a freestanding basketball hoop, but it was damaged in a tornado. He would absolutely love a new one and will use it literally every day. He plays after school, all summer, even during the winter he shovels the court to get to play!
