Valencia is darling little girl who is struggling with some self esteem issues. She struggles with her own racial identity and that prevents her from knowing what a beautiful little girl she is. Loving little girl that she is, she is most happy when spending quality time with her foster family.

Valencia struggles with racial identity. There are no salons or spas in her area that specialize in ethnic hair. When asked to think of any gift in the world she might want, this darling girl asked for a special day with just her and foster mom over the special hair treatments she has been asking for. Her caseworker identified that a special mom and daughter spa day might be just the trick help her see she is beautiful.
