A Sony Playstation 4 for Christopher who finds it easier to communicate while he is doing something else.
Christopher, 0 month old, NJ
Wish submitted by:
CASA of Mercer and Burlington CountiesChris has been in and out of foster care since 2007, due to mental health and substance abuse of his biological parents. In 2012, Christopher was adopted (along with his sister). In October of 2015, his adoptive parents requested he be removed from the home, because they are scared of him. Christopher has also been in and out of psychiatric hospitals, due to the abuse perpetrated on him by his biological parents. Christopher is now in the 4th placement since being removed from his family in October 2015. Chris enjoys sports and playing video games. He is in the 8th grade, and while he does not always do his work, he does not exhibit any poor behavioral habits while in class. Chris wants to go home and be with his parents and sister.
Christopher finds it very difficult to open up, especially since he is required to talk to many different therapists and doctors. When Christopher has another activity to focus on, he opens up more to those around him. This Sony PlayStation 4 will give him the option of playing a video game while meeting with others and the ability to open up to them.
