Alexys entered foster care when she was 14 and it was a difficult time for her, but she is very grateful for the academic support she received that inspired her to pursue her career and work towards a master degree. Alexys has a full time job and is going to school full time as well. Her goal is to eventually become a Physical Therapist. Currently, she started a four year university to complete her BA degree in Psychology. In her free time she likes to work out and her favorite sport is boxing. She also enjoys traveling, art, and make-up. She loves to be in touch with her culture and embrace her heritage.

Alexys loves to cook for her family and friends. Since moving into a bigger space for her and her siblings she has not been able to eat with them as a family. Alexys wishes to make a meal for her family and eat with them at a dining table.
