Roxy is a sweet, loving, and soft-spoken girl who loves her family and friends and exudes kindness to all. She has survived multiple chronic health conditions that have required various treatments and testing, all the while with a smile on her face and hope in her heart. She loves going to Girl Scouts and church and does not let her past experiences or illnesses dampen her spirit. She requires assistive technology and specialized clothes to both look cute and function in her day-to-day life. Roxy brings warmth and kindness to everyone who has the pleasure of meeting her.

Roxy abruptly lost her vision due to complications with her cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy. While distraught, she is looking forward to a trip to Florida for which her foster family pulled together funds. One of the best ways for her to relax and soak up the sun safely is through an adult portable wheelchair that someone can use to help her move around. She truly needs to feel the warm sun on her skin, as she is in the northeast, and there is not a lot of sun during this time of year!
