Kade has lived the majority of his life in poverty or foster care. He and his 10-year-old brother are currently placed with their oldest brother. Their oldest brother had the same upbringing as Kade does, and he is working hard to make sure his brothers have a good life. Kade's older brother works hard to support the household and provide good meals. Kade jokes that his brother's cooking skills are limited. He laughs that dinner is mostly Hamburger Helper, which is what the food budget can afford. Kade would be so thrilled to receive a gift card to Chili's, where he and his brothers can have a nice meal!
