A 23 and Me ancestry Kit for Dewayne who is hoping to find the family he has heard about
Dewayne, 30 years old, CA
Wish submitted by:
UC Riverside Guardian ScholarsDewayne is a junior transfer student. He has had a rough upbringing, however, he is very persistent and resilient. Dewayne is an English major. He is still unsure what he wants to do after graduation, he is thinking about teaching, but we will see. One thing we all really like about Dewayne is his gregariousness and his ability to light up a room when we walks in. Dewayne has a bright future ahead of himself.
Growing up without family is tough. Growing up hearing people say that you had a family, but not knowing who they are and where they are is a special kind of tough. Dewayne grew up hearing that there were brothers and sisters in his family ... and, of course, he knows there were two biological parents at the start of his life. Having just graduated from college this past spring and now embarking on his independent life as an adult, Dewayne is seeking to better understand his roots. He is wishing for a DNA kit to better understand who he is and hopefully find a sibling, cousin, or other kin who might connect with him. Thank you for considering this very special wish.
