Extraordinary Families UP4YouthApril is a 4th-semester nursing student and is SO excited to have finally reached this incredible milestone. Raising two children, going to school, and working as a home health aide has been very challenging but also incredibly rewarding for April. As she looks forward to the pinning ceremony, she's become a bit discouraged by the prices of the pins and guards offered by her school. Though she knows her accomplishment goes beyond the physical representation of it, she worries about being the only student unable to be pinned at the ceremony. This wish will provide April with the recognition she deserves at the ceremony, and allow her to celebrate her incredible achievement without barriers.
