Sonya was placed in a group home after spending eight years with a foster family that was no longer able to meet her needs. This has been a hard transition for her as she developed a close bond with her previous foster parents and desires to be in a family unit. Sonya has a magnetic personality. She is a huge fan of the Korean Pop Group BTS and loves watching BTS music videos in her free time. She loves school, spending time with her friends, and expressing her creativity through her hair and nails.
